Yiru · The AI household assistant for Singapore families and their helpers

Say it once,
not three times.

Tell Momo how your home runs, once. It turns that into a house guide in your helper’s own language, and reminds her on time, every day.

Have a helper at home? Sound familiar?

Monday: “Please tidy the shoe cabinet on Wednesday.”

Wednesday comes. It hasn’t been touched.

You say it again. She says “yes”.

It gets done – just not the way you meant.

In the end you do it yourself, quietly fuming.

Out of patience: live with it, or change helpers.

But a new helper means another agency fee – and explaining everything from scratch.

Things usually go wrong at the hand-off

Said out loud,
easily forgotten, half-heard, never questioned.

Too much to remember. Said too fast to catch. Not understood – and too shy to ask again.

Poor communication is one of the main reasons employers and helpers don't get along.— Paraphrased from the Ministry of Manpower's guide for employers

Hand that part to Momo.

Mop – daily5:30 cook riceWed – bed sheetsShoe cabinet – weeklySun – day off

Here’s what needs doing at home – can you set it up?

Done – 4 tasks set up. The shoe cabinet is weekly, so I put it on Friday; Sunday is her day off, so nothing goes there. The Burmese version is already on her phone.

FAQ

Questions you might have

What is Yiru?

Yiru (易如管家) is an AI app for Singapore homes with a live-in domestic helper. You explain things once, and the AI turns them into a daily house guide, translates it into your helper's own language and sends reminders on time. Your helper ticks off each task when it's done.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. Yiru is free for both employers and helpers.

Do I need to download an app?

No download, no app store.
① Open app.yiru.com in your phone's browser.
② Tap “Add to Home Screen” in the browser menu, then open it from the icon on your home screen, just like a normal app.
③ Turn on notifications: tap “Turn on notifications” at the top of the “Today” page, or go to “Me” → “Receive notifications”, and tap “Allow” when your phone asks. Without notifications, reminders won't reach you.
For step-by-step instructions, see the guide “How do I start using Yiru?”.

What if my helper isn't good with phones?

Each day, she just reads the day's house guide and taps to tick things off. It's all in her own language – go through it together once and she'll get the hang of it.

Is this a tool for monitoring my helper?

No. It doesn't track location, doesn't look at your helper's phone, and doesn't time how long tasks take. It simply makes your instructions clear and gives your helper a place to ask questions.

How accurate is the translation?

It uses the latest AI translation, and you can see both the original and the translation. For important things like medicine, we suggest confirming in person as well.

Which languages are supported?

Nine: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Malay, Japanese, Korean, Burmese, Indonesian and Filipino.

Can the rest of my family use it too?

Yes. Invite family members to plan things together. You can also manage more than one home – say, your own and your parents'.

First time hiring a helper and not sure what to tell her?

Just tell Momo about your home. It will draft a house guide by room and by time of day, and you can adjust it from there.

Is my data safe?

Your data is stored in Singapore, and only the family members and helper you invite can see your home's content. For translation and AI features, the relevant text is sent to OpenAI for processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.
